Welcome! We’re both graduates of Pepperdine’s MSOD program, and met through our cohort - Psi Prime. Our friendship is built upon a series of similar life lessons, a shared craving for global adventure and mutual respect for how the other thinks.

Since graduation (2022), we’ve connected at least once a month via Zoom from various locations around the world. Launching ODyssey was only a matter of time, and we hope you’ll join us for the inaugural experience!

Nausheen Farishta

Nausheen is a Chicago-based, Pakistani-American woman and a proud member of MSOD’s Psi Prime cohort. With a background in Public Relations and corporate learning and development, she has worked across diverse industries, including: Retail, marketing, education, B2B technology and nonprofit.

Today, she works primarily as an independent leadership development consultant and facilitator.

Her sense of adventure and passion for global experiences shine through her time spent living in Madrid and solo-slow traveling through Costa Rica, Italy, France and Mexico. Nausheen also shares her journeys and insights through her travel blog, inspiring others to explore the world.

Nausheen brings a unique blend of expertise and enthusiasm to this Sri Lanka Retreat. She is excited to co-curate a space for alumni to rejuvenate, connect and learn.

Leanne Shupe

Born and raised in Canada, Leanne has been a career expat spending time based in seven markets (Kenya, Nigeria, America, England, Australia and Greece). This international foundation eventually led to a Masters of Science in Organization Design from Pepperdine.

Passionate about strategy, Leanne works in the technology space focusing on innovation for blue chip companies. She has led strategic initiatives focused on intrapreneurship, new market expansion and building cross border teams.

Leanne is currently on sabbatical to fulfil duties as the founding Board Chair of a Global community, YNG, which serves its 6,000+ international members mixing exploration, hosting and leadership duties.
